PLT Tools is available for download as a ZIP archive that contains PLT Tools, all necessary files, a Users Manual (also available separately online) with installation instructions, and two sets of examples to familiarize a new user with the tools.  The download version includes all features. However, certain features (see Licensing) become available only after the user pays the registration fee and receives a license. Downloads are available for each of the three supported platforms.  If firewall restrictions prevent successful downloading, contact us to arrange receipt via email.

NOTICE REGARDING NONMEM VI version 2.0. If you have installed NONMEM VI version 2.0, see FAQ.

1. I will not reverse engineer the code for PLT Tools.
2. I will not distribute PLT Tools to others (each user should download their own copy).

†Note for Windows users who use WinZip to handle archives: After you click on the archive and WinZip opens, look for the icon/text "Extract". When you click "Extract", one of the options in the next window is “Use Folder Names”. It is necessary to select this option so that the folder names are preserved when you extract the files. If you do not select the option, all files appear in a single folder.

§ Note for OS X users: S-Plus is not available for OS X. PLT Tools requires the use of R in OS X.

Software / Hardware Requirements

Download Time (broadband): approximately 1 minute

Space Requirements: 12 Mb of free space is required for installaton of PLT Tools.

NONMEM: Version 1.5 of PLT Tools is compatible with both NONMEM 5 and NONMEM 6 (including version 2.0) and allows seamless movement between these versions of NONMEM.

Operating System:

R or S-Plus: PLT Tools uses either R (freeware available at www.R-project.org) or S-Plus (www.insightful.com) as its engine to run NONMEM, organize folders and files, perform statistics, and create graphics.  S-Plus version 8 and R version 2.6.0 and higher have been tested extensively.  Earlier versions of S-Plus are not compatible.  As new versions of R and S-Plus become available, PLT Tools will be updated to permit use with these packages.
